Ronald H. Williams, age 90, of Dowling, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 12, 2020.
He was born December 4, 1929 in Lacey, the son of Barney and Elsie (Hanmar) Williams.
Ron retired in 1992 from Kellogg’s after 24 years of service. He also was a painter in the Battle Creek area for many years. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and gardening.
Ron loved to fish, he even made fishing poles and flies. He and his wife Mary loved to travel and almost traveled to all 50 states. He attended Pleasantview Family Church.
He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Mary Jane Williams; sons, Michael (Deb) Williams, Rick Williams, Brad Williams, and Doug (Tammie) Williams; 11 grandchildren; many great grandchildren; sister, Marion Connelly; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sisters, Mildred Sullivan, Gertrude Provost, and Maxine Baker.
Graveside services will be held Monday, Aug. 17, 2020 at 11 a.m. at Union Cemetery with Pastor Steven S. Olmstead officiating.
