Bruce Douglas Newton, of Dowling, died on August 6, 2020 at age 65. He was born in Kalamazoo, on December 12, 1954. He worked at Checker Motors in Kalamazoo and recently at Bradford White in Middleville. When he was younger, he liked drag racing and spending time at Grandpa Rocks Cabin in Baldwin. Recently he enjoyed hunting, fishing, shooting sports and reloading ammunition with his grandson Patrick. Bruce was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur Paul and Corrine Lenore (Rock) Newton. He is survived by son, Paul (Julie) Newton; daughters, Becky Newton, and Karen (Dennis) Eaton; grandchildren, Patrick Grubius, Lauren Grubius, and Valery Eaton. There will be no service.
