Florine V. Morgan, age 98, passed away on July 19, 2020 at 9 p.m. at Thornapple Manor, Hastings. She was received into Heaven by her mother, father, husband Bo, and son Michael Ray, who preceded her in death. Florine was born on January 27, 1922 in Denver, CO, the daughter of Joe D. and Gertrude E. (McCaslin) Hornsby. On June 24, 1939, she married Ceil Charles “Bo” Morgan. Florine loved her family very much, and they were the highlight of her life. She enjoyed reading and cooking. During the early part of her life, Florine was a stay at home mom, and then went to work at Hastings Manufacturing, where she retired after 25 years of service. When she got bored of retirement, she gave her time helping and driving the elderly around to get groceries, shopping and hospital visits. Florine is survived by her three sons and their wives, Robert (Mary) Morgan, Richard (Sharon) Morgan, and Terry (Marsha) Morgan. She will be missed by her many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren along with her nieces, nephews and friends. In compliance with the Governor’s order, we will only allow 10 people at a time into the building. A graveside service will follow at Rutland Township Cemetery, 4600 Upton Road; Hastings.
