Amanda Lyne Bowling, age 39, of Hastings, was born on July 18, 1980 and passed away on Friday, July 17, 2020 with loved ones at her side after lifelong battle of illness.
At the young age of 11 months, she suffered a febrile convulsion from a high fever. This caused her to have seizures throughout her childhood and young adult life. Amanda was later diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes when she was 8 years old, which continued to trouble her for the rest of her life. In 2004, she was able to overcome her epilepsy through surgery, giving her the independence to driv, which she cherished so much.
She loved to spend time with her close friends and family members; whether it was going out to eat, shopping, travelling, or just hanging out around the house. She loved her younger siblings and her pets with all of her heart. No matter where she went around the house the dog and cat, Dixie and Kitty, were always by her side.
She was our gift and truly enriched the lives of her loved ones. We will all miss her dearly and she will forever be our Angel.
Amanda is survived by her mother, Sally and Michael Stout; father, Dale and Amy Bowling; brother, John (Kathy) Bowling; sister, Brooke Stout; brother, Andrew Stout; step-sisters, Shelbie Warren and Courtnie Vandecar; step-brother, Cole Vandecar; grandmother’s, Margot Bailey and Kathleen Stout; nieces, Kelsie and Kylie Bowling and Taylor Baughn; best friend, Sherrie Hicks and cousins, Heather and Melissa Bowling.
