John Stamm Jr., age 84, of Wayland, passed away quietly on, Tuesday, May 26, 2020. He will be lovingly missed by Betty, his spouse of 62 years; daughters, Norma (Roger) French, Marge (Bob) Genther and Sheri (Tony) Carpenter; four grandchildren, Rachel Hall, Phillip (Sarah) Rasnake, Michael (Michelle) Rasnake, Lee-Anna Pekel; 15 step-grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; siblings, Klasiena VanDenburg and Rose (Bill) Scobey; and many nieces, nephews and friends, including JR Sims – loved by John like a son. John was the longtime owner of Stamm Equipment Co. in Wayland. A memorial visitation will be held Sunday, July 26, 2020 from 1-3 P.M. at the Wayland VFW Post #7581, 735 S. Main St. In honor of John and in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Wings of Hope, 530 Linn St., Allegan, MI 49010.
