She was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Esther (Erway) Sharp. Kathy was born on November 24, 1945 in Muskegon, to Harold and Esther Sharp. She graduated from Thornapple Kellogg High School in 1963. Throughout her life she enjoyed gardening, sewing, reading, watching sports, socializing with everyone who came across her path, listening to country music, having coffee, spending time with her dog Chance, and keeping up with the lives of her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Due to the pandemic, there will be no visitation or funeral service at this time. The family is planning an interment/memorial service in Yankee Springs-Middleville, at a later date when it is safe to travel. The family would like to thank Ed Burran, Kathy’s dear friend, for his loving care and dedication. We also would like to thank the caregivers, nurses, and Avamere staff for Kathy’s end of life care.
