Marcia Ann Kersjes, age 71, of Nashville passed away Tuesday, Sept. 15, 2020 at Spectrum Health Pennock Hospital, in Hastings. Marcia was born in Hastings on November 29, 1948, the daughter of the late Otis and Katherine (Stutz) Hill. She was raised in the Hastings area and attended local schools graduating from Hastings High School in 1967. Marcia spent the majority of her working career employed at Hastings Manufacturing in Hastings. For several years Marcia also worked part-time at the local roller skating rink, on Thornapple Lake where she was able to spend time with her family and teach her children how to roller skate. In her spare time, Marcia enjoyed working in her flower garden, feeding her many cats and most of all spending time with her beloved family. Marcia is survived by her beloved husband, Mike; her daughter, Tammy (Mike) Lee; son, Tim (Phyllis) Bryans; stepson, Joel Kersjes; her sister, Lisa (Jim) DeVries; two brothers, Larry (Carol) Hill, Mike (Claudine) Hill; four grandchildren; two great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her stepson, Gary Kersjes. The family will receive visitors on from 5 to 7 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 19, 2020 at the Daniels Funeral Home in Nashville.
