George Michael “Mike” Ritchie of Battle Creek passed away Sunday, Sept. 6, 2020 at Bronson Hospital in Kalamazoo. Mike was born on January 27, 1963 in Hastings to George and Judith (Roeper) Ritchie. He attended Delton Kellogg Schools. He loved to cook and was a cook for many years at restaurants in the area. His real love was the out-of-doors, from camping, hunting, trapping and fishing he was right at home. Mike was preceded in death by his brother, Mark L. Ritchie in 2003. Surviving are his parents George and Pat Ritchie of Battle Creek, Judith Arias of Asheville, NC; sisters, Wendy and Rod Brownell of Delton, Danielle Arias, Christina and David Romero all of Asheville, NC. Due to Covid-19 a memorial service to be held at a later date. The family is being served by Grand Rapids Cremation Services.
